Summer Company offers individuals aged 15 to 29 the chance to launch their own small business during the summer months. Participants will receive $3000 in funding to cover start-up expenses for their business venture.

Access to Professional Development information and education offered by the Enterprise Temiskaming team members and more (if possible) that are proficient in their fields.
Guidance and mentorship from local business leaders to help establish and operate your business.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify for the program, you must:
Be enrolled in high school, college, university or online schooling in Ontario.
Be a resident of Ontario and a Canadian citizen.
Fall within the age range of 15 to 29 (applicants under 18 require parental or guardian consent).
Not currently operating a business.
Not working more than 12 hours per week in another job during the program.
Intend to return to school after the program concludes.
Individuals who have previously received a Summer Company grant are ineligible to reapply, however if individuals who are looking to participate have attempted to apply in the past, but have not secured a position in the past, they are welcome to re-apply.
Successful applicants will receive an initial grant of up to $1,500 to launch their business, with an additional $1,500 provided upon completion of all program requirements and fulfillment of their contractual agreements with both the Ministry funding the project and the agency supporting the participant (Enterprise Temiskaming).
